Today was one of these days Halldór Laxness described in one of his books (sadly I don't remember which one).
He says that there are days when noone believes that there ever was, nor ever will be, a bad weather day in Iceland. The evening was absolutely magnificent. Crisp and clear air and no wind at all. Even the sea was almost like a pond.
But, alas, this will not last. For tomorrow the met office is speaking of a heavy sourtheasterly storm with snow in the norther part of the country.
